English Course
This course provides you with the quickest route to communicative
competence in English. Special attention is given to practical language
skills needed by the business professional. The key concepts of
the course include topic-based situations that help to reinforce
vocabulary, grammar, speaking and writing, and social English.
Our aim is to offer a flexible approach to the basic interaction
patterns used by business people in their work. Business issues
and social contacts are given added meaning through an activity-based
programme, which includes visits to industrial and business centres
in Malta and Gozo.
Topic-based learning units will cover a wide range of business situations,
such as using good commercial English, collecting information, managing
a job interview, socialising, welcoming visitors, decision making
and problem solving.

Intensive
English Course
The course content is designed for young adult learners and busy
professionals who wish to develop an increased proficiency in English.
This can be done by means of study material based on everyday themes
and topics, giving the student continual practice in the four language
skills.
The course is structured in a flexible manner with self-contained
language modules that can be picked up by the students according
to their needs. Language items of grammar will be used in true-to-life
situations where the students, in getting information from others,
will also learn to use that information for problem-solving tasks.
Visitors to the Maltese Islands recognise that English in Malta
is a language of contact with the international world and so practise
can be made more stimulating through an activity-based programme
that will take students “out of the classroom”.
The Intensive Course will give you the opportunity to maximise your
study time and so acquire the language skills to help you move on
to your next higher level. The first level is intended to give you
a solid linguistic basis, usually at a pre-intermediate standard.
The higher level of study will take you to a better functional use
of English and so widen the communicative perspective of what you
are learning.

Intensive

The course content is similar to the Business English Course but
the groups are smaller in size. This favourable student-teacher

really needed by the students in lessons.

amongst the Maltese people.

Mini
Intensive Management Course
A topic-based course with emphasis on the language skills needed
by students to gain confidence in the use of English. A series of
lessons that will respect the sophisticated knowledge and expertise
of students in this course. The core syllabus will include contemporary
topics such as leadership, globalisation, marketing, production,
operations, personnel and so on.
Extension material and outside activities will be arranged in order
to connect with industrial and business centres in Malta and Gozo.
This language programme, in an ideal setting of a small group, will
put your English for Management into real-life situations.

Combination
Middle Management Course
This programme of studies combines the English for Management course
with tuition on a person-to-person basis. In this way, students
can be sure that the English they are learning is suitable for their
specific purpose.
The objective is to strengthen the motivation for learning, already
existing in middle management, by working out language exercises
related to leadership, planning, communication and similar responsibilities.
We offer a course that helps you to concentrate on the English you
need and so use it effectively in practical situations, similar
to your current needs and future aims. English is the language of

Course
A highly motivating user-related course in General English but also
designed to satisfy the specific needs of an individual student.
Together with the teacher, the student will identify those language
skills, which require reinforcement and revision.
The emphasis, as in all the other courses, is on the practical use
of English and the language tasks are related to the job or profession
in which English will be used with confidence and correctness.
